Sixteenth main installment of Ubisoft's popular dance series. Just Dance 2025 offers us 40 songs from artists such as Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande or Green Day. We can use a smartphone app or Switch's controllers to record our moves and there's also a training mode.
Just Dance 2025 is the sixteenth main installment of the very popular dance game series. The game was developed and released by Ubisoft, which has been overseeing the brand from the beginning.
As in the earlier parts of the series, in Just Dance 2025 the gameplay involves dancing to various songs. Our movements are recorded via smartphones with a special app (on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S) or with the help of controllers (on Nintendo Switch).
Moving according to the instructions displayed on the screen, we earn points. The better dancers we prove to be, the better results we achieve. A special training mode deserves a separate mention, in which we can constantly monitor the number of calories burned and the time spent dancing.
On the list of 40 songs to which we can dance, we will find tracks from such stars as Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande or Green Day. We can expand the playlist thanks to a Just Dance subscription, which gives us access to hundreds of additional songs and various bonus benefits.
Just Dance 2025 can be played alone or in multiplayer mode (locally or online).

I’ve always expected to have fun with a brand new Just Dance, even if it has been 10 years since I last played an entry, but I didn’t expect to have this much fun with this 2025 iteration. It’s a great reason to get up and move, as well as burn some calories. If you put the effort in, it’s a great exercise, and thanks to how polished, intuitive and well-optimized the game is, it’s enjoyable to play for longer periods of time. Get ready to feel the burn, because this is exhausting work. One that still manages to put a smile on your face.

Ultimately, if you've played one Just Dance game, you've played them all, as not much varies when it comes to the actual gameplay itself. However, if fans see a handful of tracks that they're interested in playing in this year's edition, Just Dance 2025 will be a welcome addition to their library. Hardcore fans will likely already be purchasing the game anyway, but for new or returning fans, this seems as good a point to jump back in as any.

I have adored Just Dance games since I was dancing to “Poker Face” by Lady Gaga from Just Dance 2014. It is a game I tend to buy most years and something that me and my younger sister bond over. Just Dance 2025 is no exception to this. The first thing I did was invite my sister over to play. I would implore you to buy this year’s version, whether this be to play by yourself or with friends and family.
