Release Date: October 14, 2025
The 17th installment of the popular dance series, developed and published by Ubisoft. Just Dance 2026 introduces the Party mode used for dance competitions. There are also 40 new songs, from artists such as Dua Lipa, Madonna, OneRepublic, and Bruno Mars.
Just Dance is one of the flagship series in Ubisoft's portfolio and it has been popular for years due to its "party" nature. Just Dance 2026 described here is the seventeenth main installment of this dance series.
In terms of mechanics, Just Dance 2026 does not stand out from its predecessors. The game involves dancing to songs from various singers and bands that were at the top at the time of its release.
To track our movements (which should match the animations displayed on the screen as closely as possible), the game uses controllers (in the Nintendo Switch version) or a dedicated mobile app (on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S). How well we perform is reflected in the number of points we earn.
The list of 40 songs introduced in Just Dance 2026 includes hits such as APT. (ROSE & Bruno Mars), Houdini (Dua Lipa), Counting Stars (OneRepublic), Hung Up (Madonna), or All Star (Smash Mouth).
We can check the training mode already known from Just Dance 2025 which measures the number of calories we burn while dancing. Just Dance 2026 also adds a Party mode that takes the form of a dance competition. Additionally, there is a challenge mode to test our skills. We can play both alone and in local and online multiplayer mode (competing or cooperating with other players).

Game Ratings for Just Dance 2026 Video Game.
Gaming Boulevard: 8.5 / 10
So to conclude! Just Dance 2026 is not a radical reinvention of the series, but it doesn’t need to be. What it offers is a refined, confident iteration; one that leans into the franchise’s strengths while smoothing over several rough edges. It's a robust, crowd-pleasing song list full of bangers, filled with improved visuals and more expressive coaches. And due to the alternate coach choices, there is overall better choreography.
Analog Stick Gaming: 6 / 10 by Jeff M Young
I still appreciate that Just Dance is still around, but the year after year installments do little to excite when you really are just updating the game rather than buying something shiny and new. Just Dance is in dire need of a complete reinvention, from a ground-level UI upgrade to its deeper catalog finally being added. Just Dance 2026 is fine, but it’s barely Just Enough.

What a difference three years, and four versions of Just Dance makes!
