Just Dance Kids 2014 is the third installment of the Just Dance sub-series designed for younger players. The Land Ho! Studio’s game develops the ideas used in Just Dance Kids (2010) and Just Dance Kids 2 (2011).
Just like in the “adult” version of Just Dance, players have to dance to popular songs accordingly with instructions displayed on the screen. The game evaluates performance in terms of rhythm and precision. Difficulty level of choreography was adjusted to kids and their limitations.
The game offers many varieties of gameplay, including both single player and multiplayer. One of the noteworthy innovations in Just Dance Kids 2014, is the ability for four people to dance together at the same time.
Since the game is designed for the youngest, the developers implemented many parental control options. Parents can decide which songs can be played and in which order, as well as view statistics, e.g. to find out how many calories their children burnt (fitness tracker feature).
Audiovisuals in Just Dance Kids 2014 does not lag behind other modern dance games. The soundtrack contains 30 well-known pop and rock’n’roll songs – starting from covers of such classics as Footloose or Do You Love Me (Now That I Can Dance), through nowadays hits, like Hit The Lights, One Thing, and Vivir Mi Vida.
