Zachtronics Industries is a development studio whose portfolio mainly consists of complex logic games with a simulation twist. After some members left the ranks of this team, they decided to start their own company, which will follow a similar path. The Coincidence team was born this way and the game Kaizen: A Factory Story described here was created by them.

Gameplay

Kaizen: A Factory Story takes us to Japan in 1986. During the game, we take on the role of David Sugimoto, who arrives from the United States to Japan to start working at Matsuzawa Manufacturing. Although he was supposed to join the sales team, he was ultimately assigned to one of the old factories in the suburbs of Tokyo, and was tasked with designing automated production lines.

Work on automation

And it is precisely the work on automation that constitutes the pillar of gameplay in Kaizen: A Factory Story. Creating the most efficient production lines here involves the necessity of welding, riveting, drilling and cutting.
