game release date for PC:

Factorio for PC is an indie strategy game, where the player is tasked with building and maintaining factories. The production has been developed by two programmers from the Czech Republic, who have always been fans of such titles as Transport Tycoon, Civilization or SimCity, and have used these renowned games as inspiration for making Factorio. The project has been funded on Indiegogo in 2013 and this event was shortly followed by an alpha version of the game.

It is up to the player to create factories on a hostile alien planet. We have to keep supplying them with the correct resources, which are required to develop our facilities further. It is also possible to uncover new technologies in research centres; we are also tasked with keeping our lands safe from the attacks of the natives.

Factorio features both a single player campaign and a sandbox mode, the developers have prepared three difficulty levels and we also have an extremely varied choice of factory equipment at our disposal. The title has full mod support and has a map editor already built into the game.

Factorio for PC has been created with a simple 2D graphic style, the production is minimalistic, which also makes it less distracting; however, it cannot compete with other titles of this genre.

Expectations: 9.2 / 10 calculated out of 480 players' votes.

We usually get annoyed when the game does something for us. Auto-combat, auto-aim, auto-leveling – just leave it, I want to play! But there's one game that becomes more enjoyable with every new thing it does for you, and I've been playing it since August.

The Czech Factorio is one of the productions that prove you shouldn’t judge a game by its graphics. Behind the dirt-gray and brownish-green sprites straight from the 90s hides one of the most intricate tycoons of the recent years.
