An action platforming game published by Amazon Games. King of Meat is mostly about multiplayer gameplay - we take part in the titular TV show, trying to beat other players and win. We must deal with various traps, obstacles and enemies on the way to the exit.
King of Meat is an action platformer designed primarily for multiplayer gameplay. The production was handled by Amazon Games (whose previous portfolio notably includes the project New World), as well as the Glowmade team from Guildford (founded by former employees of Lionhead Studios).
King of Meat takes us to a fantasy world where the most popular type of entertainment is the titular television show. During the game we take on the character who decides to join this unusual competition and fight for the title of "king (or queen) of meat".
In King of Meat we watch the action from a third-person perspective (TPP). The game takes place on various boards and our task is to reach the exit from a given location, dotted with all kinds of platforms (on which we must jump), terrain obstacles (which we must overcome) and traps (which we must avoid). The sooner we accomplish this, the fewer deaths we will suffer, and also the more treasures we gather along the way, the more points will be added to our account.
In addition, we earn points for effectively eliminating opponents. Other competitors participate in the games, who not only try to reach the finish line before us, but also actively hinder us and other players from achieving success. In addition to them, adversaries controlled by AI, such as murderous skeletons, appear in the arenas. We fight with enemies, making use of various skills and attacks of our character. In addition to melee weapons, we also have ranged weapons at our disposal, such as a crossbow or a grenade launcher, which are useful in certain situations.
During breaks from voyages, participants of the titular show end up in Ironlaw Plaza, a location that serves as a hub. Here we can chat with other players, as well as shop (acquiring useful items like various potions, and unlocking additional abilities) to prepare for the next battles. Additionally, as we progress, we gain experience for each weapon individually. It means that the special attacks we perform with them become more powerful over time.
After the visit to Ironlaw Plaza, all we have left to do is to choose one of the three maps with other players and return to the fierce competition. And speaking of maps – apart from the locations prepared by the developers, there are also arenas designed by other players in a special editor built into the game and waiting to be tested.
King of Meat was developed mainly for multiplayer fun over the Internet. Nonetheless, the title also allows for single-player gameplay - there was a story campaign prepared for this purpose.
The graphic design of King of Meat is maintained in a cartoon style.

Game Ratings for King of Meat Video Game.
Loot Level Chill: 8 / 10 by Steve Chambers
King of Meat is a splendid way to while away the hours with a few friends as you dash through devilishly designed dungeons in a never-ending quest for fame and fortune.
XboxEra: 8 / 10 by Győző Baki
King of Meat may not feature the tightest 3D platforming ever, nor the most engaging brawler mechanics in history. Yet, its eventful and varied dungeons offer exhilarating platforming, satisfying exploration and chaotic combat. It’s fun as a solo game, but with other players it turns into an absolute riot. Tons of items to throw around, explosions, moving platforms, wacky physics – it’s hilarious chaos
Hardcore Gamer: 3.5 / 5 by Zach Mckay
King of Meat is a game that fulfills a specific niche genre, aiming to provide a solid and entertaining party game experience for folks looking to play games with their friends. There's matchmaking and the potential to play solo, but the game at its core is much better with 1–3 others to play with.
