A third-person action-adventure game, based on Polish novels by Jan Brzechwa and inspired by best-selling Hogwarts Legacy. In Kleks Academy we play as a student of the titular school. We explore fantasy lands, using telekinesis, flying, size changing and other magical skills.

Kleks Academy is an adventure-arcade game, realized in a form reminiscent of bestselling Hogwarts Legacy. The game was developed by the Polish team Racoons Studio, which has been in existence since September 2021 and has a number of smaller projects to its credit.

Plot

As the title suggests, Kleks Academy is inspired by the famous Polish children's novel by Jan Brzechwa, which over the years has seen two movie adaptations.

During the game we take on the role of a new student at the titular school, and our task is to explore the fairy-tale lands and discover their secrets. We do all of this in order to gain the ability to face the darkness threatening the existence of the academy.

Gameplay

We start in Kleks Academy by creating a character. Once we have our protagonist we can plunge into the whirl of fantastic adventures. Watching the action from a third-person perspective (TPP), we travel through diverse, yet equally beautiful locations. Among them we will find not only the academy itself, but also the worlds of fairy tales such as Little Red Riding Hood or Jack and the Beanstalk.

While exploring these places, we meet their inhabitants, solve ingenious puzzles, and take on arcade challenges. Along the way, we acquire various skills that we can use during future adventures. The new abilities allow for changing size, flying, performing long jumps, or telekinesis. It's worth noting that there is no fighting with opponents to be found in the game.
