The independent French studio Mad Mango Games began its operations by creating a social game titled Job Joust. Their next project is Knightica, a title on the border of auto battlers and roguelikes.

Gameplay

In Knightica we watch the action from a bird's eye view. During the game, we take control over armies that are making their way through a fantasy world, liberating the kingdoms they pass along the way. The game allows us to decide on the path that our units will follow. Sometimes a better solution than a quick frontal attack could be, for example, a visit to the store.

Automatic battles and available units

The pillar of the game are turn-based skirmishes fought automatically in arenas covered with a grid of square fields. When it comes to a fight, our role boils down to strategically deploying units on the battlefields.
