Left Behind 3: Rise of the Antichrist

Left Behind 3: Rise of the Antichrist is the third part of a strategic series of games based on the best-selling series of books by Dr Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins, known in Poland as the Novel of the Last Times. Its theme is the vision of the end of the world, based on the biblical prophecies and the Revelation of St. John.

The plot of the game is based on the events known from the fifth part of the book. After the death of the leader of the Opposition of Oppression, we are witnessing another confrontation with Antichrist, hidden in the figure of Nicolae Carpathii - the leader of the Global Community. The main characters are the Pan-Continental pilot, Rayford Steele, his daughter, student Chloe and her husband, Cameron journalist "Buck" Williams.

The authors have put 46 new levels at the disposal of the players, divided into two chapters. Playing alone, we can stand on the side of the Opposition of Oppression, or the American militia. Each of the missions that we will have to fulfil has its main and secondary objectives. As in any RTS game, also here we have to set up a base and take care of a constant inflow of cash and food. A characteristic feature of the Left Behind series are the so-called spirit points, which determine whether a character is friendly, enemy or neutral. Because the game promotes Christian values, the recommended way to defeat the opponent is to convert him, while at the same time taking care of one's own spirituality through singing and prayer. However, if we are in charge of militia units, the use of force is inevitable.
