The first part of a new series of strategy and tactical games for portable consoles. As the title General Patton, we lead American soldiers against the Nazi forces. First we assemble our own army, and then with its help we play battles in turn-based system.
Legends of War: Patton's Campaign allows you to take on the role of General Patton and lead his brave American soldiers against the Nazi forces. The player will have the opportunity to change the cards of history and thus influence the course of the Second World War.
The title is characterized by two different game modes. On the one hand, the Legends of War is a strategy that allows for the creation of an army from handpicked units. On the other hand, a turn-based tactical game in which the goal is to defeat the opponent in as few turns as possible with the minimum number of victims on their side.
Each of the soldiers under Patton's command can develop their abilities and handle many different types of weapons. The authors have not forgotten about snipers or elite soldiers. In addition, with the help of special items found on the battlefield, the player can at any time increase the attributes of his charges.
The game contains a total of 53 different types of units, including infantry, armoured vehicles and planes. The main feature mode consists of 35 missions, each of which is characterized by different tasks (including attack, defense, sabotage, or ambush preparation).
The game has been specially adapted to the PSP console. The detailed graphics show a total of 21 different maps set in three different scenes. The different seasons of the year, which diversify the visual setting, have not been forgotten either.
