Legion TD 2 is a network strategy, which is an unusual interpretation of the tower defense genre. The production uses a free distribution model with micropayments and is a commercial continuation of one of the most popular add-ons for Warcraft III. It was developed by the AutoAttack Games studio, founded by the authors of the original.

Mechanics

Like mod, Legion TD 2 is a real-time strategy with unusual gameplay mechanisms. The game focuses on multiplayer mode, in which we fight against other players, but this rivalry takes place using mechanisms modelled on the tower defense genre.

While playing, we do not build watchtowers, but units. After they are trained and released on the map, we lose control over them and from that moment they are directed by artificial intelligence. Two four-person teams take part in the game. Each of them has one king who must be protected against attacks. His death means losing. Everything has been designed to last about 25 minutes.
