Let's Sing 2017 Description
Let's Sing 2017 for PS4, XONE and Wii is a karaoke party game – it is another installment in a series developed by Voxler Games – a French studio. The game was published by Ravenscourt; what has to be noticed, versions for particular gaming systems differ slightly in terms of their capabilities and game modes available.
Mechanics
In terms of the mechanics, Let's Sing 2017 for PS4, XONE and Wii does not differ substantially neither from the previous installments nor from other karaoke games. Thus the player's goal here is to sing along with the chosen song. The lyrics are displayed on the screen. Doing this to the best of one's ability is what the game is mainly about. Official videos for songs one attempts to sing here accompany the player as well. Each performance is evaluated on the basis of the player's correctness.
Game modes
Depending on the gaming system used, Let's Sing 2017 comes with slightly different modes available. The Wii version offers Solo, Battle, Co-op, Duet, By Heart & A Capella modes. Both the editions for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One include the Classic, Duet, Pass the Mic and By Heart modes on the other hand. Depending on the mode chosen, the player can put their vocal skills to a test when singing alone, with another player, or in turns, as well as when it is necessary to improvise (when the instrumental or fragments of lyrics disappear).
Technical aspects
Let's Sing 2017 for PS4, XONE and Wii offers simplistic visuals typical for this genre. It has little significance however, because when singing, the player watches offical videos created for the songs that appeared in the game. Those depending on the gaming system used, differ in their quality. What is definitely worth noticing, is that the versions for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One allow the player to use their smartphone as an equivalent to a microphone.
