A cooperation-oriented top-down science-fiction shooter game, Livelock was created by Tuque Games and published by Perfect World Entertainment - the owners of the Arc platform. Simultaneously, Livelock is PWE's first ever premium product, rather than one of free-to-play games which they've released so far.

Livelock for PC, XONE and PS4 is a cooperation-oriented science-fiction shooter played from the classic top-down view. It was created by Tuque Games – a Canadian studio, and released by Perfect World Entertainment – the owner of the Arc platform popular mainly for Neverwinter and Star Trek Online. Also, Livelock is PWE's first game existing as a premium product, rather than a free-to-play title.

Plot

The game is set in far future, about a hundred years after a cataclysm, which resulted in the human species being at the brink of extinction took place. Nearly entire planet is ruled by a faction of the so-called Clusters. What is particularly interesting about them, is that they use machines gifted with digitalized, human consciousness to achieve their goals. The player assumes the role of the chosen one, who can put an end to the machines' domination and reinvigorate the human race during this incessant war over the Earth's resources.
