Madden NFL 23

Madden NFL 23, in line with the model of sports games established by EA Sports, is a sports simulator of a specific discipline - in this case, american football. The game offers several game modes in which we control faithfully reproduced players and teams, aiming for successive victories.

Game mechanics

The gameplay in Madden NFL 23 is a subtle evolution of previous installments. Improvements have been made to the players' behavior and new factors have been added to the way they play to increase their enjoyment. The most important of these is contracts: the amount of money in a player's contract determines how much effort he will put into matches.

We control the actions of the athletes in the game. We can perform various tactical moves and all the actions that take place in real American football: pass the ball, charge, play down, etc. All of this consumes the player's stamina level, which determines how effective he will be during the game. Everyone has their own unique stats that determine their skills in a particular area (conditioning, passing accuracy, speed, etc.).

An additional FieldSENSE mode is available on next-gen consoles (PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X). It introduces further improvements to player control, making their movements and behaviors more realistic, complex, and based on an improved physics model.

Game modes

The title allows you to play in several game modes: Franchise, Face of the Franchise, Madden Ultimate Team and single matches. In Franchise mode, we lead our team through the whole season, not only playing matches, but also planning trainings and fulfilling imposed scenarios. In the role-playing Face of the Franchise we manage the life of a player created by us, deciding on the team he plays for, impersonating him during matches and press conferences, etc. In Ultimate Team we build our own team, using players we draw from the card packs we open, and play matches with other players over the network. We can also play with another player on a shared screen for single games.

Technical aspects

Madden NFL 23 features a high-quality graphics. Particular attention is drawn to the detailed players, stadiums and realistic behavior of characters, including fans and coaching staffs of the teams.
