Release Date: April 10, 2025
The seventh installment in a series of motorcycle racing games, created by Milestone and featuring an official license of Monster Energy AMA Supercross series. The biggest feature in Monster Energy Supercross 25 is switching the game's engine to Unreal Engine 5, allowing for dynamic surface deformation system and greatly improved visuals.
Monster Energy Supercross 25 is a continuation of the Monster Energy Supercross 6 game from 2023. The Italian studio Milestone dedicated an additional year of development (previous installments of the series were released every twelve months) to transition to the Unreal Engine 5. This was also done to "catch up" with the Monster Energy AMA Supercross championship calendar, which this cycle replicates.
Monster Energy Supercross 25 is a motocross-themed game, focused on motorcycle racing on gravel, sand, and other loose surfaces. The driving model strikes a balance between realism and accessible gameplay for a wide range of audiences. The developer has introduced broad changes in this field compared to the previous version, especially regarding control over the machine in the air.
The game reflects the 2025 season of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross championships - it includes real tracks, motorcycles and competitors (although there are also fictional tracks). Interestingly, thanks to the plans provided by the organizers, Milestone studio was able to build digital counterparts of the planned tracks before their actual versions were created (usually they are piled up in stadiums and exist only for a few days).
The foundation of the game is the single-player career mode, in which we try to win the Monster Energy AMA Supercross championship, participating in various trials or challenges and improving our motorcycle. In addition to this, there is no shortage of other modes to compete with other players.
Thanks to the use of Unreal Engine 5, Monster Energy Supercross series has made a technological leap forward. Its main feature is a dynamic surface deformation system, thanks to which conditions on the track can change every lap under the influence of motorcycle wheels. UE5 also allowed for the use of more advanced artificial intelligence algorithms for virtual opponents (Neural AI).
Just like the previous installments, Monster Energy Supercross 25 allows us to design our own tracks, as well as paint the motorcycle and modify the rider's outfit - helmet, suit and gloves.

Monster Energy Supercross 25 is a tough to pick up, but rewarding to learn racing sim. The new physics, courtesy of Unreal Engine 5, makes this iteration of the series more realistic than ever, with ever-evolving track surfaces that make every lap different and exciting with each new attempt.

Monster Energy Supercross 25 - The Official Video Game works mechanically and has a sense of style, but there's nothing to keep you playing past a certain point.
Insider Gaming: by Michael Straw
Monster Energy Supercross 25 is the best Supercross game that Milestone has put out in so many ways. The racing is rewarding as you get the hang of it, and the visuals are second-to-none. Unfortunately, the career mode leaves you just wishing for more to do with the rest of the game feeling quite empty.
