MXGP 24: The Official Game

MXGP 24: The Official Game is a racing game using the FIM Motocross World Championship license. This is the first one to be created outside the Italian team Milestone (its last work on this theme was MXGP 2021) after the takeover of the brand in 2023 by the French company Nacon. The development was handled by the studio KT Racing, known for "car games" such as Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown and the WRC series.

Gameplay

MXGP 24: The Official Game focuses on realism, but the creators have made sure that the controls are accessible even to less experienced players.

The game recreates the 2024 season of the titular series. This means that it features authentic bikes, race tracks (20 locations), teams and riders (over 50 names in total) who competed at the time in the MX2 and MXGP classes. An open world map with an area of 4 square kilometres has also been prepared, on which we can ride freely, training in a variety of conditions.

Career

The foundation of the game is career mode. We start as an amateur who aims to join one of the teams competing in the MX2 class, and then advance to the top MXGP category, after showing excellent results in races. On the way, we manage our team and keep an eye on the events schedule.

Multiplayer

Apart from the career and other singleplayer modes, MXGP 24: The Official Game offers multiplayer races over the Internet.

Technology

When advertising the game, the creators paid special attention to a technological innovation, namely "evolving track conditions", changing under the influence of motorcycle wheels or the weather.
