Moonglow Bay

Moonglow Bay is an RPG with life simulation elements. The game was developed by an independent studio Bunnyhug, while its release was handled by Coatsink.

Plot

Moonglow Bay takes us on a journey to the east coast of Canada in the eighties of the 20th century. During the game we play as a novice fisherwoman, who has to save the company left to her from impending bankruptcy.

Mechanics

In Moonglow Bay the action was shown from the top-down view. Game offers a vast world where we can find picturesque coast and seaside town, giant glaciers and impressive geysers. On land we move on foot, while on the ocean we sail aboard a boat. During the game we deal mainly with fishing. There are over a hundred different species of water creatures waiting to be caught. As not all of them can be caught with a fishing rod, we also catch them in other ways - by setting traps or casting nets.

We prepare and sell our catches and invest the money we earn in expanding our shop and developing our fishing equipment and boats. With time, we also acquire new skills, improving both in fishing and in preparation of dishes. All this means that as you progress you can venture further and further afield and undertake more complex tasks, such as uncovering the secrets of the bay and verifying the tales of the sea monsters that live there...

Game modes

Moonglow Bay can be played solo or in local co-op mode.

Technical aspects

Moonglow Bay colourful graphics are based on voxels.
