The second installment in a series of wacky arcade games about transporting furniture. Moving Out 2 supports singleplayer and co-op (local and online).
Moving Out 2 is the second installment in a series of wacky arcade games originating from 2020, in which players control employees of a moving company. The game was co-developed by SMG Studio and DevM Games, and published by Team17.
Moving Out 2 once again has us playing as the employees of FART, an aptly-named moving company. They must complete their assignments as quickly as possible - though not necessarily accurately.
Moving Out 2 makes use of isometric perspective. The game features many diverse, often wacky playable characters - regular humans varied in age, humanoid alligators and people with clouds for heads. Their looks are purely cosmetic, as every character plays the same.
The game is frantic, fast-paced and humorous. There are a number of diverse assignments for us to complete, all taking place in different, often exotic locations. We must move furniture from the house to our car or the other way around - the fastest way to do so is often throwing things across the rooms. We should also remember tossing furniture out of windows is faster than dragging them downstairs.
Just like the previous installment, Moving Out 2 supports singleplayer but only really reaches its full potential in co-op. Unlike its predecessor, the game supports online multiplayer.
Moving Out 2 retains the first game's colorful, cartoonish artstyle.

Game Ratings for Moving Out 2 Video Game.
Pure Nintendo: 8 / 10 by Jemma Casson
Moving Out 2 provides more of the same slapstick shenanigans in a world of clumsy movers and fragile items. The silly humor is present and accounted for with more levels to conquer while you laugh along. The developers have played it safe with minor changes that improve the experience overall.
Slant Magazine: 4 / 5 by Aaron Riccio
The chaotic adaptability in the face of whatever weird mash-up of things that Moving Out 2 throws at you is what makes it more than just a delivery machine for so many puns. The silliness of being a F.A.R.T. is predicated on enjoyable, rock-solid gameplay. If you want to see everything the game has to offer, your moving techniques will have to change right along with the dimensions themselves. That is, after all, what moving’s all about: never sitting still.
ThisGenGaming: 8.5 / 10 by Justin Oneil
Moving Out 2 provides more variety and adds some new features to improve on what the first game did so well. There is some fun level design across the different dimensions, the writing is funny once again, and there is plenty of ways to play with friends locally or online regardless of their skill level.
