NCAA March Madness 2005, released on PS2 and XBOX, is another part of the EA Sports series, which focuses on academic basketball competitions licensed by the National Collegiate Athletic Association. Once again, we take control of either one of the existing teams or we create our players and try to gain fame.

Mechanics

The main single-player mode is called Dynasty. We take on the role of the manager of one of the teams and try to improve the results by hiring new players, taking care of their form, as well as selecting the right line-up. Then, we move to the pitch and play the match. Fans of long hours of fun should feel satisfied because the Dynasty mode allows you to lead a team for up to thirty years.

Game modes

The Pontiac College Classics mode is also a real treat for NCAA enthusiasts to take part in historic meetings. It is only up to the player to end a match by achieving the same result as in the past or to change its fate. In addition, there is also a single match mode. We can take part in it together with a friend or an opponent controlled by artificial intelligence.

Technical aspects

NCAA March Madness 2005 has improved controls. The most important of these is to signal the planned actions to the rest of the team, thanks to which it is possible to coordinate the attack better.

In terms of visuals, NCAA March Madness 2005 doesn't differ much from the previous installment of the series. The commentary is provided by Brad Nessler and Dick Vitale.
