In 2024, the Spanish team Nomada Studio delivered its second creation, an adventure platformer titled Neva. In time, the Barcelona-based team prepared an add-on to this production, called Neva: Prologue.
As the title suggests, the action of Neva: Prologue takes place before the events presented in the basic version of the game. However, the described expansion is intended for players who have already completed the main adventure. Here we find three locations, each of which is associated with a unique mechanic. While wandering through them, we face new challenges and unseen before opponents, including bosses.
The protagonist of Neva: Prologue is once again a woman named Alba, whose pursuit of white butterflies leads her to a warped swamp. There the protagonist finds an orphaned wolf pup and decides to save it. To do this, our protagonist must lead the four-legged dog through the wilderness full of dangers and, together with him, face a dark force.
Neva: Prologue is a non-self-contained add-on, so it requires the basic version of the Neva game.
