A mobile role-playing game heavily-inspired by the Pokemon series. The game is set in a fantasy land, combining modern reality with science-fiction elements. You play as a trainer, whose task is to catch the eponymous creatures, develop their abilities, and use them to battle other trainers. In Nexomon, you traverse a world divided into 10 regions, visit shops, talk to NPCs, and complete a variety of quests.
Nexomon is a mobile RPG. The game was designed to recreate the mechanics and atmosphere of the mobile installments of the Pokemon franchise on smartphones and tablets.
In Nexomon we are taken to a fantastic land, combining modern reality with occasional science fiction elements in the form of various types of advanced technologies. Players take on the role of a trainer, whose task is to catch wild creatures, develop their abilities, and then use in battles with other trainers.
Nexomon is a clone of the Pokemon series. We get an RPG, in which we explore a big world consisting of ten regions, talk to NPCs, visit shops and undertake quests.The devs have prepared an extensive story campaign, with many optional side missions.
A key role in the game is played by the mechanics of catching the creatures, which then join our collection. Players can develop their abilities, evolve them into new forms, as well as create crossbreeds of several specimens. In total, Nexomon gives us the opportunity to capture more than three hundred types of these creatures.
We use our creatures in turn-based battles, during which we mainly deal with choosing appropriate attacks to defeat the opponent and using items. An option to flee from battle is also available.

I hope Nexomon continues to perform well and grow from here. The developers really do have an opportunity to take what they've done across the first two titles and build it into "the alternative Pokémon", especially considering that both Yokai Watch and Dragon Quest Monsters seem to be on the wane. Nexomon isn't quite the game that its (console) predecessor is, but it's still a warm, comfortable, and amusing experience, and while it can be frustrating at times to try and catch all 300+ monsters on offer, they're so ultra-cute that you'll do it - and love it - anyway.

Despite all of the shortcomings, Nexomon is a fun video game to play, especially factoring in the cost of the game. Even at it's full price, there is a compact RPG that you can play and enjoy the visuals and story. There is a tough grind that feels like a slog early on, but this isn’t a game that offers more than 30 hours of gameplay, nor does it pretend to. The simplicity of the gameplay means that even after an extended break away from playing, which is probably caused by using the stock of twenty Nexotraps, you’re always able to pick up where you left off with relative ease.
