An adventure exploration game that takes place in an aerial world. As a child that can transform into a dragon the player must restore the ancient order that was maintained by the Titans. For unknown reasons the creatures had abandoned their responsibilities.
Oure is another game developed by Heavy Spectrum Entertainment Labs, the creators of Shadow of the Beast from 2016. The new game was released on PC and PS4 in 2017.
Oure for PC and PS4 tells the story of a child that inhabits a fantasy, sky land. His task is to find and awaken eight Titans – powerful creatures that serve various roles. For unknown reasons they stopped serving their purposes. This impacted the lives of humans living on the surface. Luckily, the protagonist is exceptional and he has the powers of ancient dragons. He must use his human and dragon forms to save the world.
The creation of Heavy Spectrum Entertainment Labs is an adventure exploration game with many puzzles. The gameplay in Oure is calm and similar to interactive experiences like the famous Journey. In the dragon form the player travels through the sky areas in search for eight Titans. As a child the player solves more or less complicated puzzles, for example by operating ancient machines. The game lacks any forms of violence.
Oure for PC and PS4 is an artistic game that is meant to create unforgettable emotions. Exceptional graphics and sound track created by symphonic orchestra are helping in achieving that goal.

Oure has been released after a couple of better games in the same format. It fails to live up to the expectations of the first few minutes and becomes a chore very quickly. I can't see the game being as successful as its predecessors which is a shame as it started with so much promise. It is rather like climbing into a Ferrari, sitting in the seats, admiring the experience that you are about to have only to discover it's got the engine from a Fiat Cinquecento in it. Oure lacks the substance to succeed, but if you want a really nice flying dragon simulator I guess you have found your match.

Oure embraces the freeform nature of the adventure genre with wondrous exploration through the clouds as a dragon. While taking down the colossi can become frustrating due to the controls, Oure still has the wings to stand up to Journey and ABZU admirably.

I truly enjoyed the game and the challenge it offered. And for its price point, I believe that it is well worth it. If you ever want a game where it challenges your mind and offers such a beautiful landscape then you should check this game out.
