Out of the Park Baseball 22 is based on similar assumptions as in previous parts of the series. The game features real teams from world leagues (including the American MLB and MLBPA) and boasts the necessary licenses. It was developed and published by Out of the Park Developments.
Out of the Park Baseball 22 is based on similar assumptions as in previous parts of the series. The player makes various decisions required while managing a baseball team. We are talking about coaching the team, searching for talents, supervising the games themselves, as well as the line-up or financial aspects of the club's activity. The stadium-building mechanic known from Out of the Park Baseball 22 also returns.
It is worth noting that the player is not limited to the current season - for the first time in the history of the series we can manage any club known from the extensive history of the sport. In the case of the newest games, the game also makes use of the LIVE mechanics known from the previous part, which allows for real-time monitoring of the results of matches played in the ongoing season and adjusting players' statistics depending on their behaviour during matches.
In the latest installment, the gameplay has been refined and more customisable, and the interface has been modified to make it more accessible (including drag-and-drop mechanics). Options for recruiting new players have also been improved, and more activities and strategies have been added.
Out of the Park Baseball 22 can be played both solo and with other users. The game offers a single player mode and a number of online modes, including the expanded Perfect Team module, which allows us to play together with thousands of other users from all over the world.
Out of the Park Baseball 22 has a rather simple graphic design that combines 2D and 3D elements. The graphics are mainly the interface and various stat screens, but during games we get to see the players in a fully 3D and relatively detailed environment.
