Overloop Release Date PC
Overloop is a two-dimensional platformer maintained in a science fiction climate. In this game, you can find strongly outlined elements of the shooter and mechanics characteristic for puzzle games. The game was produced by developers from Charge Games studio and it is their debut project. The publisher is Digerati.
Overloop takes place in a dystopian world in which Douglas Infinity invented a machine that allows everything - including humans - to be cloned instantly. Because of this invention an absolute chaos prevailed on Earth, while the scientist himself became a global dictator. The player takes on the role of a hero who tries to overthrow the inventor's regime using his own technology against him.
In Overloop, we observe the action from the side - from side-scrolling perspective. This is quite a classic platform game - the gameplay in it is to explore locations, which often requires jumping on various platforms. Often we also have to eliminate encountered enemies and solve simple puzzles.
A characteristic feature of this game is one of the weapons possessed by the main character - the Cloning Gun, which allows you to make copies of yourself. The player can use them for a variety of purposes, e.g. to eliminate enemies, as well as to trigger passage blocking traps that would normally end the game.
In Overloop we can play alone or with others. The core of the game is a role-playing campaign, but we can experience it with a friend - in the local cooperation mode.
Overloop has simple, two-dimensional graphics, maintained in the pixel art style (it refers to games from the 80s and 90s of the last century). The graphics does not stand out, but competently reflects the unusual, dystopian universe and atmosphere of the game created by developers from the Charge Games studio.
