Pac-Man Museum+

Pac-Man Museum+ is the second collection of iconic arcade games starring the titular Pac-Man. It was created by Bandai Namco Entertainment.

Mechanics

Pac-Man Museum+ includes fourteen games: both a number of games known from the first Pac-Man Museum (released in 2013) and a handful of titles absent there. The games in question are: Pac-Man, Super Pac-Man, Pac & Pal, Pac-Land, Pac-Mania, Pac-Attack, Pac-in-Time, Pac-Man Arrangement (arcade version), Pac-Man Arrangement (console version), Pac-Man Championship Edition, Pac Motos, Pac 'n Roll Remix, Pac-Man Battle Royale (in which players compete against each other on a battle royale basis), and Pac-Man 256, which is the newest addition to the set.

Although each game differs in various nuances, the gameplay in most of them is built on the same foundations. During the game, we play as the title creature, which travels through mazes and eats balls scattered around. We have to avoid ghosts hunting us, if we don't want to end the game too early... unless you have just eaten one of the special balls, which for a limited time allow you to devour the frightened ghosts. The exceptions are: platform games Pac-Land and Pac-in-Time, puzzle game Pac-Attack and arcade spin-off called Pac Motos (where our task is to knock down all enemies).

The nostalgic journey through the brand's history is made even more attractive by the game's menu, in the form of a hub modeled on arcade. Its layout can be adjusted to individual preferences. The game offers a system of missions and the coins earned for completing them can be spent on buying various decorations and souvenirs as well as on unlocking new tasks.

Game modes

Pac-Man Museum+ allows you to play solo or in multiplayer mode.

Technical aspects

Each game included in Pac-Man Museum+ is diversified in terms of graphics and sound. We can find here both games taken straight from the 8-bit era (led by the original Pac-Man) and much more modern titles with 3D graphics (like Pac 'n Roll Remix).
