Passpartout: The Starving Artist is a production on the verge of adventure and life simulation, developed by the independent Flamebait Games studio. The title appeared on both personal computers and mobile devices with Apple iOS and Android systems.
In Passpartout: The Starving Artist, players take on the role of a French painter who tries to earn a living (especially on wine and baguettes) by selling the works he creates. The story depicted in the three acts is full of humour, but it does not lack references to politics and pop culture.
The overriding element of the game in the AND, PC and iOS Passpartout: The Starving Artist is painting pictures. Production gives us a not very extensive set of tools (two types of brushes and spray and the basic palette of colors), with the help of which we create our works. The title does not limit what we have to paint - they can be landscapes, portraits, still lifes, or even abstract sketches of geometric figures; of course, we can give our paintings any name.
Nevertheless, the key to success is to match the diverse tastes of art connoisseurs who are our customers - for example, while some will not like the colours we choose, others will like the brush size used, while others will appreciate the length of subsequent strokes. It is somewhat complicated by the fact that, as in life, once painted, the line cannot be undone.
Three-dimensional graphics Passpartout: The Starving Artist presents a decent level - particularly pleasing to the eye, cartoon style; the soundtrack composed by Synkronosaurus can also fall into the ear.
