The game takes place in the titular 41st millennium and concentrates on galactic conflict between various races, fighting for control over different planets. When joining the game, we choose a faction, such as Space Marines, Eldars, or Orkz, allowing you and other players join the epic battle over certain territory.

Each player becomes a knight and the group fights on confined arenas that resemble levels from the classic Bomberman. Players can make use of many different pieces of gear and weapons, including swords, bows, and crossbows, but also laser guns, as well as special actions (e.g. ninja, kamikaze).

The gameplay is kept in a typical for the genre style and boils down to exploration and discovering new technologies that allow to create a number of helpful tools in the wilderness.

Rich Vogel, the co-creator of such hits as Star Wars: The Old Republic or Ultima Online, was its leader. The action of the game takes place after the Great War, which took place at the beginning of the 20th century.

The story of Aliens, Trolls & Dragons takes place in a distant future, in which new planets have been colonized or discovered, including a one with civilization similar to Earth’s medieval period.
