An indie point & click neo-noir adventure game. Phoenix Sprigns has us playing as Iris, a reporter searching for her brother. The game de-emphasizes regular puzzles in favor of the map of thoughts.
Phoenix Springs is a point & click adventure game featuring artistic visuals. It was developed by the independent Calligram Studio.
The game's protagonist is reporter Iris Dormer - her adventure begins when she sets out on a search of her brother, Leo. She ends up in the desert city of Phoenix Springs inhabited by mysterious, secretive people. During her journey, Iris discovers the secrets connecting this place with myths and even with herself.
Phoenix Springs controls like other point & click games, with clicking controlling movement and actions. During our journey we'll meet many NPCs and talk to them about various topics. We must also carefully watch the environment and use items to solve problems.
By interacting with the world and talking to people, we gain hints and fill out our map of thoughts, unlocking new dialogue options. To discover the secrets we're looking for, we must connect facts together and ask the right questions while avoiding false clues.
Phoenix Springs features hand-drawn neo-noir visuals. The game's detailed animations and color palette are especially appealing.
