Phonopolis is another adventure game from Amanita Design, a Czech studio. The indie developer became famous for the cult Machinarium and Samorost series, and after the scary Happy Game decided to go in a slightly different direction.

Plot

Phonopolis takes place in the title fictional city, ruled by a great Leader. This leader has managed to turn the unsuspecting inhabitants into obedient citizens with the help of huge megaphones and subliminal messages. Only Felix, the game's main character, is aware of the danger. The boy must try to get help from other residents before the Leader succeeds in playing the ominous Absolute tone.
