Postal 2 Redux

While the map in the original was divided into smaller areas, the remake offers a fully open world devoid of loading screens. In addition to this, the developers delved into physics, so the environment is more susceptible to interaction.

There are also improvements to crowd behavior, making riots break out faster and more chaotic here. The icing on the cake is the improved arsenal, which allows to dismember targets and pierce through their bodies.

Gameplay

In terms of mechanics, Postal 2 Redux does not deviate too much from what the original got us used to. The whole thing is still maintained in the atmosphere of an absurd, black comedy gore intended exclusively for adult players.

Watching the action from a first-person perspective (FPP), we explore the city of Paradise and carry out the quests set before us. The missions are not too sophisticated and involve, for example, shopping. The accompanying chaos is sown incidentally. Postal Dude has at his disposal a wide range of firearms and melee weapons, and also uses a gasoline canister, which allows him to set targets on fire. However, when he wants to act discreetly, he puts a cat on the barrel of his gun... (using it as a silencer).
