Mechanics

In Potentia, the action is shown from a third person perspective (TPP). We perform tasks which push the plot forward and travel through various locations; among the latter we can find a deserted city, over which nature has started to take control (streets are overgrown with grass and lush trees have grown between buildings), as well as picturesque landscapes. As we explore them, we must constantly look around for useful items. In addition, you need to be constantly on guard, as enemies may be lurking around every corner.

The way Victor deals with his adversaries is up to you. Nothing stops him sneaking around behind their backs or silently taking them out with a crowbar or bow. However, if we have enough ammunition (and the right firearms, of course), we may as well engage in open fire and shoot at enemies with a rifle or pistol. The second approach, however, has significant disadvantages, as bullets are limited here, and wounds must be healed with first aid kits, which are also rare.

Technical aspects

Potentia has a high-quality graphic design. The varied and richly detailed location designs are particularly pleasing (especially considering that the game was created by a team of just four people)
