The PlayStation is the iconic, trail-blazing console designed and developed by Sony. It was a console of the 5th generation, but it was the 1st to be designed entirely by Sony. It sported a 32-bit architecture, a CD drive and entire 2 MB of RAM. The console achieved a stunning success across the world, eventually delivering more than 100 million units worldwide. Apart from PS1 (PSX), a scaled-down version, the PSOne, was also available.

A futuristic action game in which the player takes on the role of a soldier equipped with cybernetic implants, defending the planet from alien invasion. The protagonist performs this task first with a laser sword, and later also with a firearm. The production was one of the last high-budget titles published on the first Sony console.
007 The World is Not Enough

Based on "The World is Not Enough" he plays with agent 007 in the lead role. This time James Bond faces a pair of demonic lovers - the heir to the oil empire Elektra King and terrorist Viktor Zokas.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six

First-person action game developed by Red Storm Entertainment, a studio founded by the famous writer Tom Clancy. The production allows you to direct an anti-terrorist squad during subsequent missions.
Medal of Honor (1999)

A cinematic FPP World War II shooter created by DreamWorks Interactive, co-founded by Steven Spielberg. In Medal of Honor, we play as former pilot Lieutenant Jimmy Patterson, recruited by the OSS. The action takes place in the final period of the war and our hero's task is to perform various tasks in such countries as France, Germany and Norway.
Grand Theft Auto 2

A sequel to the very popular, and rather controversial, game from DMA Design (currently Rockstar North), which offered a taste of criminal lifestyle, letting you commit progressively more brazen and bloody acts of violence. The second part once again takes you to the streets of a virtual metropolis, and although it features only one city, it is much bigger than those in the first game. It is divided into three districts controlled by three local gangs. Players do various jobs for the gangs.
Quake II (1997)

The action of Quake II takes place in the distant future where humanity established contact with a biomechanical race of the technologically advanced Stroggs. When it turned out that the alien secretly plan to conquer Earth, a special space marine unit was sent into action.
Apocalypse

An action game in which the main character is given a voice and image by the actor Bruce Willis. The production story takes place in a distant future, on a cosmic colony, where the evil pastor created a cult condemning science and preaching an imminent apocalypse; in fact, he himself intends to bring the world to an end. This can only be prevented by his former co-worker, in whom the player plays.

N2O: Nitrous Oxide

Thunder Force V

Arcade, side-scrolled 2D shooter in which console owners take control of a combat spacecraft. The production is a conversion from Segi Saturn and at the same time the fifth installment of the Thunder Force cycle.
Forsaken

Clone of the famous action game series Descent. You take on the role of an all-purpose hunter crossing the destroyed Earth in search of the precious things that survived the disaster.
Shadow Master

Action/shooter game with a first person perspective (three-dimensional graphic engine). Rodney Matthews, a well-known fantasy illustrator, took an active part in the work on this title and thanks to that Shadow Master has a very interesting overall style of workmanship in comparison to the competition.
Grand Theft Auto

A controversial action game developed by the Scotch studio DMA Design. The game takes place in three American cities, based on Miami, New York and San Francisco. The objective of the game is to complete various missions received from mafia bosses. At first the missions are simple (for example, stealing cars), but as player’s reputation increases, the objectives become more complicated and player starts participating in bank robberies, murders and other insolent crimes.
Beast Wars: Transformers

Players take the side of Maximala (descendants of the Autobots) or Predacons (successors of the Decepticons), and the outcome of the conflict taking place on the surface of the prehistoric Earth depends on their choice.

Maximum Force

A skillful target sight converted to PlayStation 1 from slot machines, where players take on the role of a counter-terrorist and try to save hostages from the hands of criminals. The title is distinguished by a relatively rare graphic design, with digitised images of actors.
Ghost in the Shell
