Krystof Knesl is an independent developer who spent five years single-handedly creating a thriller-themed adventure game reminiscent of the cult classic Firewatch. The result of this endeavor is the project described here, titled Radiolight.

Gameplay

In Radiolight the action is viewed from a first-person perspective (FPP).

Investigation in Ashwood Creek

The driving force of the gameplay is the investigation conducted by the main character, during which we explore Ashwood Creek National Park. Although we are destined for a solitary journey, we have a semblance of companionship through Robert, a police commissioner in the nearby town, with whom we communicate via a walkie-talkie.

Walkie-talkie and radio

Additionally, we have a radio at our disposal that allows us to listen to broadcasts from local stations. But that's not all, as the device can be tuned to supernatural frequencies, enabling us to receive paranormal signals and listen to sound traces from the past. Following the clues obtained in this way requires caution, as they can lead us astray.
