Distinct Possibility Studios is a company founded by John Smedley, Matt Higby, Trammel Isaac, Tammy McDonald, and Michael Hunley. The development team decided to start with a bang, creating an MMO shooter with an open world, namely the game described here, titled Reaper Actual. It is distributed in a free-to-play model with microtransactions.

Gameplay

In Reaper Actual we watch the action from a first-person perspective (FPP). The game takes us to the fictional island of Marova and allows us to embody the titular Reapers. We're talking about mercenaries who find themselves in the middle of a faction war and carry out missions such as eliminating targets or even gathering valuable resources. On their way, they fight both with mercenaries controlled by other players, as well as opponents controlled by AI.

Reapers

The game provides us with characters that vary in terms of appearance, preferred weapons, skills and perks. Among them, we will find Zero, who is quite a universal soldier, Luna and Vibora who prefer to act quietly, Havoc wreaking havoc wherever he appears, and Thor who is a specialist in defensive actions.

Factions

As for the factions that have torn the island of Marova apart - we are talking about the Royal Marova Defense Coalition (self-proclaimed successors of the royal Marova army), The Obsidian Syndicate (a group controlling the black market originating from the local underworld), The Outlanders (elite mercenaries and former special forces soldiers), M.E.T.R.O. (their members take care of order in cities and protect civilians) and Rogue Command (former soldiers who have become independent).

Bases

In between exploring the open world and completing objectives, we should visit the base that serves as our command center. The developers provided us with several types of headquarters, which are diversified in terms of defense capabilities and resource storage. They include bunkers, warehouses, as well as manor houses converted for military operations.

Weapons, vehicles and machines

The icing on the cake is an arsenal that primarily includes firearms. We can use pistols and machine pistols, assault and machine rifles, as well as shotguns or sniper rifles. Additionally, the game puts vehicles and machines into our hands - off-road cars, boats and helicopters.
