RGB Express is a puzzle game produced by the Bad Crane team, in which we manage a transport company delivering parcels. We need to steer the trucks in such a way that they avoid collisions with other traffic participants, and the addressees receive the shipments in the right time and order.
RGB Express, released on AND and iOS, is an ingenious puzzle game developed by the Finnish-German studio Bad Crane, known from Zapresso.
In RGB Express, we play the role of the manager of a transport company dealing with the transport of colors. To achieve this goal, we use trucks. The game takes place on a series of maps filled with small buildings. The player first draws routes for all vehicles with their finger, then presses the PLAY button and passively looks at how the orders are executed simultaneously by employed drivers.
Initially, the challenges are very simple, but they quickly become more challenging, making it difficult to avoid collisions, and orders for several shipments for a single address appear on orders. Also, the route once used cannot be used again, so it is necessary to carefully plan all the moves. An additional source of difficulty is the fact that each truck can carry only one type of box.
RGB Express keeps the gameplay fresh by regularly introducing new rules and elements. There are, among others, drawbridges, various switches, white trucks with no limitations as to the colors of the transported boxes and special roadside locations, which allow the shipment to be left there and later picked up by the next driver.
The campaign takes the form of a series of cities and we unlock the next ones by spending the currency earned for completing the missions. There is no linear set of levels and we can freely choose the order of missions within a given metropolis.
