Rover Mechanic Simulator is a production that allows the player to become an engineer responsible for the repair and maintenance of rovers used in research projects on Mars. The game allows you to read the specifications of this type of equipment and allows you to use a wide range of tools for their repair. The Pyramid Games team from Lublin is responsible for developing this product. PlayWay S.A. helped with its release.

Mechanics

The basis of the game in Rover Mechanic Simulator is the maintenance and repair of Martian rovers used by the crew of the research station located on the Red Planet. We do this by carefully analyzing the plans, identifying faults properly, and selecting the right tools. Sometimes it is enough to just repair the chip, sometimes it is necessary to replace the whole part.

The player has a wide range of equipment at his disposal, which allows him to dismantle individual devices and make necessary repairs. This includes a mechanical screwdriver, soldering iron, compressor and even a 3D printer. We can replace even small parts of the rovers. The gameplay is characterised by quite a high level of realism. The player must be very careful - the machines are fragile and they're very easy to damage. A moment of inattention can make repairs very long and more expensive.

In addition to repairing the equipment in use, we can also find and restore old rovers, which in the past served humanity, but were damaged - e.g. "Spirit" or "Opportunity" machines. As the game progresses, we develop and improve our workshop as well as the skills of the hero. By promoting ourselves in the colony community, we get access to more advanced tasks.

Game modes

In Rover Mechanic Simulator, we can only play alone. The production does not offer any multiplayer mode - the basis of the gameplay is the single player module.

Rover Mechanic Simulator has an attractive, three-dimensional graphic design, which is characterized by a high level of detail. The creators have focused on realism, trying to faithfully reflect the appearance of both the Red Planet and the equipment used by humans to explore the space.
