The action of the game takes place in the fantastic kingdom of dwarves, which was invaded by trolls. Hordes of green monsters have conquered vast areas and are threatening the capital. The player plays the role of a daredevil, who had to lead the defense and chase away intruders. The main campaign in the game consists of 40 boards with increasing difficulty.
The game is based on classic rules of the genre. The player's task is to erect turrets along the route of enemy units. Eliminating each troll is rewarded with a small amount of virtual money, which allows you to buy more buildings or modernize existing ones. Different types of defensive structures work differently against each of the 12 types of opponents. In addition, you can use spells that can weaken or slow enemies.
Royal Defense visual setting is based on simple, two-dimensional graphics in cartoon style. The creators took care of several thematic motifs of the boards depicting, among others, mountains, forests and glacier. The soundtrack makes the fun more pleasant for the ear.
