Satellite Command for AND and iOS is the first game created by Stormtide Limited, a studio founded in 2015. This is an interesting simulation-strategic game, slightly reminiscent of Kerbal Space Program. The game was created in cooperation with experts in the field of astronautics.
The goal of Satellite Command is to manage a network of satellites circulating around the Earth. Developers have prepared about 150 missions, in which we have specific objectives to complete. The problem is that we do not have unlimited resources and mistakes are severely punished because the game uses a permadeath system. Our main task is to determine the parameters of individual satellites - we can send six satellites into space. We choose their purpose, give them a name, buy the necessary improvements (e.g. a battery with a larger capacity), and then we determine the orbit on which the machine will circulate. Everything must be carefully planned to avoid accidents.
The game has a progression system, achievements gained for performing assigned tasks, and ranking lists, allowing to compete with players from all over the world.
Satellite Command for AND and iOS was created using Unreal Engine 4 technology, known from such productions as Unreal Tournament, Final Fantasy VII Remake or Tekken 7. The engine allowed to obtain high-quality three-dimensional graphics.
