Sheltered 2 Release Date PC
Sheltered 2 is a survival strategy game in which we try to ensure the survival of a certain faction after a nuclear disaster. This is a direct continuation of the 2016 game. It was developed by the Unicube studio (creators of the first part). The publisher is again Team17.
The action of Sheltered 2 takes place in a world where there was a nuclear catastrophe and civilization was destroyed. The player takes command of one of the factions that are trying to survive in a hostile reality.
In Sheltered 2 the fun is about managing a faction in a post-apocalyptic world. This requires making a number of difficult decisions. We observe the action from different perspectives, depending on the aspect of the gameplay we are involved in at any given time. During the day-to-day management of the community, the game uses a classic side-scrolling camera, similar to, for example, This War of Mine or Fallout Shelter.
In addition to providing the basic needs of your people (we do this primarily by exploring the wilderness - the vehicles we can find scattered around help with this), we must also establish relationships with other factions, using diplomacy and conducting trade. In some situations conflicts and misunderstandings arise - then we have to fight (battles are realized in turn-based system, in which we use the strengths of our soldiers and score the weaknesses of enemies).
Each member of our faction has their own skills, personality, traits and desires (we have influence on them and can change at will). Similarly, the leader of our party can even die permanently (when this happens, the game ends - permadeath).
In Sheltered 2 we can play only solo. The core of the game is the story campaign.
Sheltered 2 has a rather simple, 3D graphic design. The graphics is not too detailed, but its atmosphere cannot be denied.
