Silver Chains is a survival horror in which we play a man who woke up in an abandoned property. The game focuses on realism and offers an interesting story and a number of puzzles. The title was developed by the independent studio Cracked Head Games, and published by Headup Games.
After a mysterious accident, Peter wakes up in an abandoned English mansion. The man doesn't know how or why he ended up in this place, but soon begins to understand that he's not there alone. Trying to find a way out, Peter discovers dark secrets about what happened in the estate. What is even more worrying, however, is the fact that some indications show that he has already been here before.
The world of Silver Chains is seen from the first person perspectice. Controlling Peter, we move around the locations, collect items, solve puzzles (thanks to which we get access to subsequent rooms) and gradually discover the story prepared by the creators. There is also no shortage of action, because there is a mysterious threat in the property - as our hero cannot fight, it is necessary to run away and find hiding places.
Silver Chains offers single player mode only.
Silver Chains features interesting three-dimensional visuals. The aim of the creators was to achieve the impression of photorealism, thanks to which the dark atmosphere of the game is intensified - and this goal was achieved. The game can be enjoyed, both from a technological point of view and thanks to attractively designed locations.
