The second expansion for the popular turn-based strategy with RPG mechanics, inspired by the Heroes of Might & Magic series. Songs of Conquest: Roots DLC features the new titular faction, responsible for creating conscious colonies of plants, fungi and bones of fallen heroes. There are new maps, units, heroes and artifacts in the DLC.

Songs of Conquest: Roots is the second expansion to the turn-based strategy game with RPG elements titled Songs of Conquest, released in May 2024. Similar to the base version of the game and the previous DLC titled Vanir, this add-on was prepared by the independent studio Lavapotion.

New features in the expansion

The biggest novelty introduced in Songs of Conquest: Roots is a new playable faction. The titular Roots are conscious colonies composed of plants, fungi, and the bones of fallen heroes, spreading from the depths of the Wyldwoods of the Bleak East.
