A survival horror inspired by the first Resident Evil trilogy. The protagonist of Sorry We're Closed is Michelle. She is cursed by a demon and we can try to save her from it. The game combines static shots (during exploration) with first-person perspective (during combat).
Sorry We're Closed is a survival horror game made in a style reminiscent of the genre's classics from the 1990s, led by the first three parts of the Resident Evil series. The game is the debut project of a small, independent studio called a la mode games.
The main character of Sorry We're Closed is a girl named Michelle. She is living in London and has been cursed by a love-hungry demon. Over the course of several of her potentially final days, the protagonist, endowed with the so-called third eye (allowing her to see parallel realities), ventures into an alternative world to find a way to free herself from her curse.
Whether Michelle manages to escape from oppression (or on the contrary - falls straight into the arms of a love-struck demon) largely depends on our actions and choices made during the game.
In Sorry We're Closed we view events from two perspectives. During exploration Michelle is presented from static shots, but on the battlefield we see the world through her eyes (FPP).
We can explore the London district and its alternative, demonic version, meet characters and perform missions that push the story forward. On our path, we often encounter opponents with whom we fight, making use of a gun called Hellhound and other types of weapons.
We also regularly use the third eye during the game. It allows the protagonist to observe a parallel reality, which is useful for solving environmental puzzles. Michelle can discover passages and secrets available in one dimension, which are not present in the other. Additionally, Michelle uses her third eye to stun enemies and reveal their weak points.
The graphic design of Sorry We're Closed is maintained in a distinctive, flashy or even "punk" retro style.

Game Ratings for Sorry We're Closed Video Game.
Nintendo Life: 9 / 10 by Oliver Reynolds
Sorry We're Closed is one of the most unique and memorable survival horror games we've ever played. The juxtaposition of bright colours and quirky characters against moments of true terror is unlike anything we've ever seen before, and the first-person combat mechanics manage to feel immensely satisfying and empowering while still retaining a sense of creeping dread. This is a world we won't soon forget, and unlike the protagonist's desire to shy away from love, we suspect you'll immediately fall head over heels for this one.
Hardcore Gamer: 4 / 5 by Kyle LeClair
Sorry We're Closed beautifully takes that otherworldly psychological horror of games such as Silent Hill and puts its own colorful spin on things, resulting in a game filled with an eye-popping visual style, a terrific story with a clever look at relationships via angels and demons, and an amazing cast of characters, including one truly memorable and unsettling villain, alongside a lot of other surreal and spooky moments. While the combat may be a tad frustrating later on, it all still makes for a great entry into the genre and definitely one to pick up.
The Gamerheads Podcast : by Roger Reichardt
Any horror game that gets me to play it—and actually enjoy it—is worth checking out. Sorry We’re Closed weaves a heartfelt narrative of heartbreak and loneliness through a cast of charming, memorable characters. The ability to switch between isometric and first-person perspectives is well-executed, and the third-eye power adds a clever twist to both puzzles and combat. I didn’t know what to expect when I first booted it up, but I found myself deeply connected to the characters and their stories. Don’t sleep on this game—Sorry We’re Closed is doing things I haven’t seen in many other games.
