South Park Video Game Series
A series of games based on the popular animated series. The license has changed holders several times. Currently, the rights to produce games based on South Park belong to Ubisoft.
The first game created based on the South Park series, was South Park: Official PC Game from 1998. The game was developed by the Iguana Entertainment studio with the publishing support of Acclaim Entertainment. The publisher has also released two more games - South Park: Chef's Luv Shack (1999) and South Park Rally (2000). Financial troubles have stopped the brand's development for several years. After Acclaim Entertainment went bankrupt, the licensing rights were acquired by Microsoft Game Studios, resulting in two games distributed on the Xbox Live service: South Park Let's Go Tower Defense Play! (2009) and South Park: Tenorman's Revenge (2012). In 2012, there was another change of licensee, which became the THQ. After its bankruptcy, the license was bought out by Ubisoft, which, in cooperation with Obsidian Entertainment and South Park Digital Studios, completed work on South Park: The Stick of Truth (2014).
Games in the South Park series represent different genres (from arcade shooters to racing, tower defense strategies to cRPGs) and aren't connected by a storyline. Their common denominator is the characters from the cartoon - Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, Eric Cartman and Kenny McCormick, as well as the place of action - the town of South Park.
The visuals of the games in the South Park series resemble the TV original. So players can expect two-dimensional graphics in cartoon style. The games often use the actors from the TV series.

RPG, 2D, Humorous, Classic RPG, PS Plus Extra, PS Plus Premium, Animated TV Series, Singleplayer, Superheroes, Turn-based, Xbox Game Pass Premium, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass.
Another installment in an RPG series based on the Comedy Central’ cult adult-oriented cartoon TV series. The title is a direct sequel to South Park: The Stick of Truth released in 2014. However, unlike that game, this one was created by an Ubisoft’s subsidiary. Once again you play as the New Kid, whose family just recently moved in to South Park. This tim, Cartman and his group play the roles of superheroes, making up the vigilante group of Coon & Friends. They have to face a new danger, the villainous Professor Chaos. In terms of gameplay mechanics, the game is similar to its predecessor, combining classic RPG elements with turn-based combat, further spiced up with a big doze of nasty humor invented by the creators of the TV series: Matt Stone and Trey Parker.

The player assumes the role of a kid who, together with his parents, just moved in to the titular town and tries to win his peers’ sympathy. Shared LARP (Live Action Role Playing), in which Cartman and his friends take part, gives the hero a chance to prove himself. The plot of South Park: The Stick of Truth is filled to capacity with absurd humor and references to popular culture. The creators applied elements of classic cRPG mechanics, like character classes, turn-based combat, gaining experience, and reaching higher levels. The production features cartoon-like graphics.
