Star Wars: Demolition is an action game released on PS1 platform in which the player takes control of vehicles and characters known from Star Wars and with their help fights with others in specially designed arenas. The production was created by Luxoflux studio, which has a similar gameplay scheme based on Vigilante 8 and Vigilante 8: Second Offensive.

Story

The pretext to play with Star Wars: Demolition on PS1 is the ban on the Empire's races of racers. In order to fill the gap, Jabba organizes a completely new, much more dangerous competition - duels to death and life between competitors using armoured vehicles.

Mechanics

Issued on PS1 platform Star Wars: Demolition allows you to play as one of thirteen playable players and fight in eight arenas. Playable characters include Boba Fett, Sith Darth Maul, as well as pilots of vehicles such as AT-ST and the tank of the Commercial Federation.

The aim of the game is to destroy all opponents and become the owner of the last fit vehicle in the arena. Achieving this task is facilitated by a series of reinforcements scattered across the battlefield, such as weapon upgrades, shields and camouflage devices.

Game modes

Production offers four modes, each of which can be run alone or together with a different player. Tournament is the main point of play, in which the player must win a series of matches with increasing difficulty level. Battle Mode allows you to set the parameters of the game yourself. High Stakes adds a gambling element to the game before each game, allowing you to bet on the results of the game. The last variant of the game, Hunt-a-Droid, allows you to train your shooting skills by eliminating imperial droids.
