A sequel of the popular third-person action RPG with soulslike elements, developed by Shift Up studio from South Korea. Stellar Blade 2 (working title) is supposed to stand out primarily thanks to a more serious plot and bigger focus on the narrative.
The South Korean studio Shift Up gained global recognition thanks to Stellar Blade, a third-person (TPP) action RPG with soulslike elements. It was released on PlayStation 5 in 2024, and a little over a year later appeared on PC. The project achieved spectacular artistic and commercial success, so after its premiere on PC, the creators began to openly talk about its sequel.
Stellar Blade 2 (working title) is set to follow in the footsteps of its predecessor, while simultaneously fixing a number of its issues. The developers intend to focus primarily on the narrative layer, which should be more developed and abound in more cut-scenes. Additionally, the creators plan to make the whole story more serious than the original one.
