Storm Lancers

ProbablyMonsters is a company that has been in existence since 2019. Its portfolio includes a horror-maintained adventure game titled Ire: A Prologue, as well as Storm Lancers, described here, which is an action platform game with roguelite elements.

Gameplay

In Storm Lancers, events are viewed from the side. The adventure takes us through procedurally generated biomes, which we traverse by jumping on platforms, avoiding terrain obstacles and traps, and fighting enemies.

Exploration and combat

Both exploration and duels with enemies are dynamic, while during them we have to show dexterity and reflexes. On the battlefield we use white weapons (such as katanas and hammers), as well as ranged weapons (such as rifles and grenade launchers). On our way there are serial adversaries and much more powerful than them bosses. Among them we will find hostile machines, as well as aggressive flora and fauna.

Character development and death consequences

As we progress, we unlock permanent upgrades for our character, which expand his repertoire of moves, including sliding, jumping and underwater jumping. In addition, over time we accumulate a better arsenal and gain more powerful skills.
