Super Little Acorns 3D Turbo 3DS

Super Little Acorns is a game that hit the lists of best-selling applications for smartphones and tablets. On the wave of success, the development team at Pixel Toys decided to prepare the conversion to a Nintendo 3DS portable console.

Like the classic arcade platformers, Super Little Acorns 3D Turbo's plot is extremely simple and reveals a marginal role. The Nibbles' squirrel family is going through difficult times. The thief sneaked into a hollow and stole all supplies. Meanwhile, winter is approaching inexorably. Regardless of the danger, the father of the family decides to get delicious acorns....

Super Little Acorns 3D Turbo offers 90 levels in the main campaign and an additional 30 levels in 3D Turbo mode. The boards are small, which is clearly related to the smartphone roots of the game. The gameplay is maintained in the style of classic 2D platformers with a characteristic side view of the camera. The player directs the main character's actions and his task is to jump between platforms, avoid obstacles, fight enemies (spiders, bees, sheds and other animals) and collect acorns, objects and even squirrel children.

Among the interesting solutions is the possibility of using a rope, which can be hooked on various places on the star board. In addition, the creators prepared a large assortment of costumes and accessories allowing to individualize the appearance of the main character.

In the visual layer of Super Little Acorns 3D Turbo stands out with intense 2D color graphics in cartoon style. When preparing the conversion to the Nintendo 3DS console, the developers used an innovative device display, generating a three-dimensional image.
