A free-to-play MMO strategy, set during World War II. In Supremacy: Call of War 1942 we take control over one of the playable countries with a plan to lead it to victory. We have different ways of winning - by building the strongest army, gaining allies or diplomatic means.
Supremacy is a series of MMO war strategies and a pillar of Bytro Labs company. Supremacy: Call of War 1942 described here (initially known as Call of War: World War II, but rebranded in April 2025) belongs to this group. It allows us to participate in World War II and rewrite the history of this conflict. The game is available in a free-to-play model with microtransactions.
In Supremacy: Call of War 1942 the gameplay takes place on a political map of Europe and America during World War II. It presents individual countries divided into provinces. These last ones are differentiated in terms of attributes, such as resources present on them, victory points (accumulating the highest number of them is a condition for winning) or terrain features.
During the game we take control of one of the countries and lead its armies into battle, commanding them in real time during offensive and defensive actions. We can fight on land, at sea or in the air. Espionage also plays an important role in the game, as it allows us to obtain valuable information about our opponents along with their strengths and weaknesses.
In order to deploy the largest and most modern army possible, we need to gather resources (food, goods, human resources, metal, oil, rare materials, money), conduct research on new technologies, and invest in new weapon technologies (led by the development of nuclear weapons).
The matter is complicated by the fact that all actions require time, which necessitates planning at least several moves ahead.
The game also allows us to carry out extensive diplomatic actions and achieve our goals without bloodshed. However, if we don't know which direction we should go, we can rely on the help of a team of advisors.
