Democracy 4 is another part of a series of strategies about managing a modern state. The game was developed by Positech Games studio, the developers of previous entries in this series as well as other titles such as Production Line or Gratuitous Battles series. The main designer was Jeff Sheen, who had the same role in developing Democracy 3: Africa.

Mechanics

Just like the previous versions of the series, Democracy 4 is a turn-based economic strategy in which we become a leader of a fictitious democratic state, and our task is to govern it in such a way to meet the expectations of society and thus remain in power.
