Plot

The action of Tape: Unveil the Memories takes place in the nineties of the last century. Game takes us to a small Spanish town. Iria is the daughter of a famous horror director who disappeared in mysterious circumstances. One day the girl receives a mysterious VHS tape. It turns out that it contains a recorded message from her father, in which he asks her for help. To find out what happened to him and to save him, the protagonist must uncover the dark secrets of her family, which an old camera will help her with.

Game mechanics

In Tape: Unveil the Memories we observe the action from a first person perspective (FPP). The adventure leads Iria through various locations. The places she visits mostly defy logic and the laws of physics, such as spiral corridors or rooms whose walls are also floors. In many of them there are puzzles waiting to be solved. Among them are puzzles that involve moving or stopping certain objects in time, which we do with the help of an old Irii camera. Solving them, we not only unlock passages to subsequent rooms, but also gain scraps of information, and thus - push the plot forward. And it doesn't end there, because with time a mysterious, dangerous creature starts to tread on the heels of the heroine, from which the girl must hide.

Tape: Unveil the Memories features good quality graphics. Locations were designed with attention to various details.
